Councilmember McOsker on LA Port Negotiations

“I strongly encourage the Pacific Maritime Association and International Longshore and Warehouse Union to continue their discussions and be willing to negotiate around the clock until an agreement is reached,” said Councilmember Tim McOsker. “The women and men who work at our ports not only kept our country afloat during the pandemic, but risked their lives doing so. As they fight for fairer wages and working conditions, we need to ensure that the ILWU workers can continue to provide for their families. I remain confident that a fair resolution can be reached.”
