“Today, I was elected Chair of the Governing Board of the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA) for the 2024-25 fiscal year," said Councilmember Tim McOsker. "This governing agency oversees the dedicated railway between the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to downtown Los Angeles (the “Corridor”). Among its many goals and purposes, the Corridor can and should be a tool to take trucks out of our communities and to be an incremental improvement to the environment of the region. I am looking forward to the next year for ACTA and working to realize these improvements."
